Guide on How to Delete a Geofence

For those who use the MyAlarmCenter home monitoring system, there may come a time when you need to delete a Geofence. Deleting a Geofence is an important and helpful maintenance task when monitoring your home for security. Here, we will walk you through the process of deleting a Geofence from your MyAlarmCenter system.

Geofences are special types of boundaries that help you monitor movement in and around your home. Whether you use the automatic device tracking feature, Activity Zones, or the always-on geofencing feature, deleting a Geofence is the same.

Step 1: Login to your MyAlarmCenter account.

Step 2: Select the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of the page, and then choose ‘Geofence’ from the left sidebar.

Step 3: You will now see a page with all the geofences you have set up. Select the one you'd like to delete.

Step 4: Once you have selected the Geofence, choose the ‘delete’option.

Step 5: You will now be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the Geofence; choose 'Ok'.

Step 6: You will see a message confirming that 'the Geofence was successfully deleted'.

Now that you have successfully deleted your Geofence from your MyAlarmCenter system, you can choose to add another one or disable geofencing altogether.
